A lawsuit involving Burger King, Aramark and a slip and fall case is due to start today. A woman claims that she tripped on a floor mat at a Bethalto Burger King in 2004. Aramark provided and cleaned the floor mats at the Burger King.

Little claims that Burger King allegedly failed to warn customers of a defective floor mat, failed to maintain the floor mat in a reasonably safe condition and allowed a floor mat with uneven edges to be placed on the floor even though it presented a risk to customers.

According to the complaint, Aramark supplied the floor mats to Burger King.

Little claims Aramark failed to supply floor mats that sat flush on the floor and laundered their floor mats in a way that allowed them to become distorted.

The woman hurt her left knee and shoulder in the fall and is asking for compensation for medical expenses, pain and suffering, and lost wages. She is asking for $100,000 in her lawsuit.
